Backend Software Developer – PHP, Laravel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing Laravel within a modular monolith framework.

• Create and enhance multi-tenant SaaS functionalities, ensuring proper data segregation and tenant-aware capabilities.

• Produce clean, well-tested, and maintainable code adhering to Domain-Driven Design principles.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new features and refine existing functionalities.

• Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards of code quality.

• Utilize tools like PHPStan, Rector, Pint, and other similar code quality instruments.

• Optimize database queries and apply Redis caching techniques.

• Diagnose and resolve production issues.

• Contribute to technical documentation and inform architectural decisions.

• Leverage AI-enhanced development tools to boost productivity and enhance code quality.

• Develop and implement web-based products for the Insider One marketing and customer engagement platform, employing PHP and Go or Node.js.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline.

• Over 3 years of software development experience.

• Strong practical experience with Laravel (essential).

• Profound knowledge of PHP, including modern PHP practices, features of PHP 8.x, strict types, and readonly classes.

• Familiarity with package-driven development, modular monolith structures, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methodologies.

• Solid understanding of MySQL and Redis.

• Proficient in Git and Git workflows, including branching strategies, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with code quality tools such as PHPStan, Rector, or other similar static analysis utilities.

• Proven track record of contributing to large-scale projects and collaborating with technical teams.

• Proficient in English, capable of analyzing and comprehending technical documentation.

• Familiarity with Symfony is advantageous.

• Experience with Elasticsearch or other NoSQL technologies is a plus.

• Experience using AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar assistants (desirable).

• Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, or similar) (desirable).

• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized development environments (desirable).

• Familiarity with Vue.js or other contemporary frontend frameworks (desirable).

• Interest in or exposure to Go (Golang) (desirable).

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures (desirable).

• Familiarity with Laravel Horizon or Redis queues (desirable).
