Backend Engineer – TypeScript/Node.js, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop the backend that powers Fundable’s API, AI services, MCP, and workflow platform.

• Take ownership of Fundable’s core data products from their architecture to production.

• Oversee the complete development of our new external API.

• Create, deploy, and test agentic microservices that transform natural language queries into deterministic filters.

• Construct Fundable’s workflow product from start to finish, akin to n8n, for recurring automations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid backend engineering experience in building production systems from the ground up.

• Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, along with SQL and Postgres expertise.

• Experience in designing APIs, data models, and distributed jobs with features like authentication, idempotency, retries, and observability.

• Knowledgeable in utilizing AI tooling (e.g., Claude, Codex) to develop maintainable, modular systems without compromising quality.

• Hands-on experience with LLM-backed systems, agentic frameworks, RAG, structured outputs, evaluations, and deterministic validation.

• Strong product judgment and effective communication in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Experience deploying production systems using cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
