Backend Engineer – Ruby on Rails

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the development and progression of the core of the Credit Card system.

• You will build and maintain APIs and services on our monolithic application using Ruby on Rails.

• Design, construct, and uphold unit and integration tests.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and the selection of tools and processes.

• Work in a highly ambiguous and rapidly growing environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.

• Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.

• At least one year of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services, preferably serverless.

• Minimum one year of experience with DevOps or CI/CD.

• Experience in secure coding practices.

• Desirable experience with Amazon RDS.

• Preferred experience with AWS: CDK, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Lambda.

• Agile mindset and familiarity with Scrum.
