Backend Engineer – Moderation Enforcement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various teams including product, design, and engineering to implement product and business strategies, creating innovative products and features that resonate with our users.

• Engage in the entire development cycle: from technical design and development to testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. This includes reviewing code and design documents as well as providing feedback on product specifications and mockups.

• Commit to continuous learning and enhancement of both technical and non-technical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in software development within an enterprise setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Go or Python (mandatory), with additional knowledge of Rust or Ruby being a plus.

• Familiarity with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or the basics of gRPC, coupled with the capacity to design and implement maintainable APIs.

• Strong organizational abilities with a talent for prioritizing tasks and maintaining project timelines.

• An entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by self-direction, innovation, and a proactive approach in fast-paced settings. You enjoy building new initiatives and excel in uncertain situations, including those that involve setbacks.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teams in a fully remote environment and the ability to discuss intricate topics with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
