Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to design and execute software solutions.

• Create elegant and efficient APIs and handlers.

• Develop and oversee high-functioning datastores and services.

• Actively suggest and implement enhancements to the codebase.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers to foster their professional growth.

• Design and develop solutions for systems that handle a high volume of transactions per second.

• Partner with other high-performing departments to transform the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient and extensive experience with Python in a production setting.

• Skilled in defining, implementing, and testing APIs.

• Experience with Event Handlers.

• Knowledge of business logic implementation.

• Familiarity with integrations involving third-party systems.

• Experience with production SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in using Docker in production, preferably with Kubernetes or Fargate/ECS/EKS.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capability to meet objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
