Backend Developer – Regular, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• You will be tasked with implementing new features and maintaining existing code, allocating approximately 70% of your time to new development and 30% to maintenance.

• You will design and create applications while ensuring code quality and contributing to the overall system architecture.

• You will adhere to best development practices and propose optimal solutions.

• You will take charge of decisions, design solutions, implement them, test, and release them independently.

• You will be involved in regular activities such as daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Backend Expertise — Strong proficiency in PHP, particularly with Laravel/Symfony frameworks.

• AI-First Mindset — Practical experience with Claude Code (preferred) or Cursor in real-world projects, with the ability to identify and address inaccurate model outputs.

• Testing & Database Skills — Extensive experience in unit testing and familiarity with relational databases, especially MySQL (MariaDB).

• NoSQL & Architecture — Practical experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and Event Sourcing.

• DevOps & Ecosystems — Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, orchestration using Kubernetes, message broker RabbitMQ, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab.

• API & Version Control — Strong grasp of RESTful API principles and proficiency in version control systems using GIT.

• Architecture Knowledge — Solid understanding of microservices architecture.

• Product Thinking — You prioritize understanding "why" before "how" and prefer delivering a functional solution this week rather than a perfect one next month.

• Soft Skills & Languages — A collaborative team player possessing excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills, with a communicative proficiency in Polish and English.
