This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

• Develop and sustain the BFF/Backend API framework using Python/FastAPI, ECS/Lambda.

• Implement single sign-on (SSO) and identity provider integration, alongside the tenant-based authentication framework utilizing AWS Cognito.

• Create an audit logging system that ranges from basic development logging to comprehensive document lifecycle tracking.

• Build essential API services that facilitate the chat Q&A interface and retrieval orchestration.

• Integrate with various AWS services such as API Gateway, Cognito, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudWatch.

• Write unit and integration tests; assist the QA Automation Engineer by providing testable and well-documented service contracts.

• Engage in code reviews and help uphold backend code quality standards in collaboration with the Tech Lead.

• Over 3 years of experience in backend software development.

• Strong proficiency in Python, with a preference for experience in FastAPI or Flask.

• Familiar with AWS serverless and container services, including Lambda, ECS, and API Gateway.

• Experience working with DynamoDB and S3.

• Knowledge of SSO/OAuth 2.0/OIDC concepts; experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity provider integration.

• Comprehension of API design principles, audit logging strategies, and secure data management.

• Comfortable collaborating in agile/scrum teams using Jira.
