Backend Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• In the role of a mid-level backend developer, you will be tasked with creating new features and enhancing the existing product in projects related to our e-commerce platform.

• Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the team and the Tech Lead to design robust architectures while implementing development best practices.

• You will also be involved in establishing technical standards, mentoring less experienced developers, and ensuring the quality of code deployed in production.

• Opportunities may arise for you to contribute to our open-source repositories, attend technology events, and author technical articles detailing your challenges.

• Engage in the development and upkeep of backend systems (such as Python with Django, Node.js with NestJS, and Golang).

• Work alongside the team to define and implement scalable, secure software architectures.

• Take part in strategic decisions aimed at evolving systems towards microservices.

• Review code and provide support to fellow developers.

• Automate and enhance CI/CD processes and deployments within cloud environments.

• Implement automated testing and monitoring processes.

• Collaborate with other teams (frontend, DevOps, QA) to ensure seamless system integration and quality.

• Proficiency in backend programming languages, particularly Python;

• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs;

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB);

• Familiarity with additional backend languages (Node.js and Golang);

• Experience utilizing Docker and Kubernetes in production settings;
