Backend Developer – .NET Core, GCP Ecosystem – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend services utilizing C# / .NET Core / .NET 8+, emphasizing performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Design and execute solutions leveraging contemporary architectures, such as Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and microservices.

• Construct secure, high-performance APIs with edge governance through Google Apigee.

• Engage in the design and implementation of event-driven architectures, employing Google Cloud Pub/Sub for service integration.

• Ensure adherence to security best practices, including authentication, authorization, safeguarding against OWASP vulnerabilities, and proper use of encryption and secrets management.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, incorporating test automation, static analysis, and DevSecOps practices.

• Create and manage containers using Docker while working with orchestration on Kubernetes.

• Monitor and improve application observability with Dynatrace, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces, and addressing incidents.

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and sharing engineering best practices.

• Take part in technical discussions with product, architecture, infrastructure, security, and other collaborating teams.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the platform by identifying technical debt, bottlenecks, and avenues for advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Developer.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+.

• In-depth understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and microservices.

• Experience in secure development and practical application of controls against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Practical experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, access control, and safeguarding sensitive data.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Pub/Sub and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of Google Apigee or similar enterprise API gateways.

• Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with observability tools, preferably Dynatrace.

• Ability to work independently, possessing a systemic perspective and a strong sense of technical accountability.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate across different areas and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
