Backend Developer – .NET Core, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend services utilizing C# / .NET Core / .NET 8+ with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Design and execute solutions employing contemporary architecture patterns such as Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and microservices.

• Create secure, high-performance APIs with edge governance through Google Apigee.

• Engage in the design and implementation of event-driven architectures using Google Cloud Pub/Sub for service integration.

• Uphold security best practices, including authentication, authorization, safeguarding against OWASP vulnerabilities, and proper application of cryptography and secret management.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, encompassing test automation, static analysis, and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Construct and manage containers with Docker and oversee orchestration in Kubernetes.

• Monitor and enhance application observability with Dynatrace, analyzing metrics, logs, and traces, as well as addressing incidents.

• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and the sharing of engineering best practices.

• Engage in technical discussions with product, architecture, infrastructure, security, and other partner teams.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the platform by identifying technical debt, bottlenecks, and avenues for advancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Backend Developer.

• Proficient in C# and .NET Core / .NET 8+.

• In-depth understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and microservices.

• Experience in secure development and practical implementation of controls against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, access control, and safeguarding sensitive data.

• Experience with Google Cloud Pub/Sub and event-driven architecture.

• Knowledge of Google Apigee or other enterprise API Gateways.

• Proficient with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.

• Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with observability tools, preferably Dynatrace.

• Ability to work independently, possessing a system-wide perspective and a strong sense of technical accountability.

• Effective communication skills for interacting across various departments and simplifying technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in production settings.

• Knowledge of SAST, DAST, SCA, and application security.

• Experience with mTLS, Zero Trust, and edge security.

• Previous experience in large-scale APIs and critical environments.

• Familiarity with ADRs, technical documentation, and architecture governance.

• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, or serving as a reference for the team.
