Backend Developer, Kotlin – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for the product throughout its lifecycle, from feature ideation to ongoing maintenance;

• Offer and implement services associated with the product;

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues including bugs, incidents, and analysis;

• Adhere to client-established policies and procedures;

• Develop unit, functional, and performance tests in accordance with team standards;

• Address production challenges during incidents that affect customers;

• Equip applications with the necessary tools to gather performance data, operational logs, and metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kotlin;

• Experience with the Spring Framework;

• Familiarity with software development best practices such as TDD, DDD, and Clean Code;

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks, specifically Scrum and Kanban;

• Skills in provisioning and instantiating AWS services, including SQS and S3;

• Experience with databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis;

• Competence in unit testing;

• Ability to manage code using Git Flow;

• Understanding of event-driven architecture;

• Strong communication skills, both clear and concise;

• Team-oriented with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively;

• Previous experience working in agile, cross-functional teams;

• Creative and proactive in envisioning diverse application use cases;

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker;

• Experience with JavaScript;

• Knowledge of the Apigee platform.
