Backend Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in backend systems development tasks.

• Collaborate with various teams, including development, requirements, and testing.

• Estimate the effort required for user stories, tasks, and bug fixes.

• Address bugs and implement enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Create Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Micronaut, as well as Node.js and Python.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as Cognito, S3, EKS, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, and Lambda.

• Oversee containerized applications using Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with GitLab.

• Understanding of Jira and Confluence.

• Knowledge of the AWS VPN Console.

• Experience with Rancher.

• Familiarity with the ELK stack.

• Knowledge of the Sensedia platform.

• Proficient in JavaScript.

• Strong background in backend project development.

• Experience with Git version control.

• Practical knowledge of AWS projects and APIs.

• Capability to write unit tests.

• Ability to produce well-structured, testable, and efficient code.

• Solid understanding of Lean Startup principles.

• Proven track record in managing complex projects.

• Familiarity with Jira Software and Confluence.

• Capacity to work independently and make strategic decisions in dynamic settings.

• Degree in Systems Analysis or a related discipline.

• Experience with Java.

• Familiarity with Git, Linux, and Jira.

• Background as a Backend Analyst/Developer.
