This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, develop, document, test, and debug both new and existing software systems, applications, and/or components for market sale or proprietary purposes.
β’ Make design choices that promote reusability, potential reuse, componentization, extensibility, maintainability, and minimal coupling.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve challenging customer issues.
β’ Execute the most complex development, testing, and debugging tasks.
β’ Keep abreast of the latest developments in platforms, programming languages, and web/database technologies.
β’ Remain informed about business initiatives and objectives, especially concerning infrastructure and development architecture matters.
β’ Promote a culture of continuous improvement in all technology areas and instill this mindset within the team.
β’ Provide advice and mentorship to Software Development team members as a point of escalation.
β’ Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker to ensure portability and scalability across various environments.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Over 5 years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically in a Senior Analyst or Analyst level role or its external equivalent.
β’ Strong knowledge and understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.
β’ Proficient in multiple programming languages, software development environments, and software development life-cycle procedures, including but not limited to: PHP, JSON, Java, AWS, API Integrations, RESTful Web services, and both structured and unstructured databases, along with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, VUE, React).
β’ Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.
β’ Familiarity with Docker containerization and EKS.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Capacity to manage competing demands, delays, or unforeseen events.
β’ Experience with Application Integration and developing APIs for rapid product integration.
β’ Experience working in Agile Scrum and DevOps-oriented delivery teams.
β’ Proven experience in estimating software development projects.
β’ Experience in developing cloud-native applications and/or migrating applications to the cloud, preferably on AWS.
β’ Ability to lead a developer team while also contributing as a team member.
β’ Adaptability to changing environments and the ability to modify approaches or methods to best suit the situation.
