Backend Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design distributed architectures (microservices, modular monoliths)

• Establish backend development standards

• Choose technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, etc.)

• Create APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)

• Implement scalability strategies (horizontal/vertical)

• Define design patterns (DDD, CQRS, Event Sourcing)

• Manage databases (SQL and NoSQL)

• Design security mechanisms (authentication, authorization, encryption)

• Ensure monitoring, logging, and observability

• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in backend development, with 1 year in architecture

• Experience in high-concurrency systems

• Proficiency in backend languages (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, Go)

• Experience with APIs and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

• Familiarity with advanced design patterns
