This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Develop and customize extensions within the SAP Commerce Cloud ecosystem.

• Design and implement robust backend solutions using Java and the Spring Framework.

• Model and maintain data structures through Items.xml within SAP Commerce.

• Implement business logic utilizing Services, DAOs, Facades, and Strategies while adhering to best development practices.

• Configure and personalize eCommerce processes such as checkout, promotions, taxes, and payment methods.

• Develop and implement OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) services for integration with digital channels.

• Participate in the design and evolution of B2C eCommerce-oriented architectures.

• Integrate SAP Commerce with ERP, CRM, and external systems using APIs and web services.

• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, QA, and Front End developers to ensure high-quality solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of standards and best development practices.

• Engage in maintenance, optimization, and evolution processes of the platform.

• Professional degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Over 4 years of experience in backend development with Java.

• Proficiency in Java 8, Java 11, or higher versions.

• Solid experience with the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, and related components).

• Proven experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) projects.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Commerce components such as OCC, Backoffice, CronJobs, and ImpEx.

• Experience in developing and customizing SAP Commerce extensions.

• Knowledge of data modeling using Items.xml.

• Experience implementing business layers using Services, DAOs, and Strategies.

• Experience integrating platforms through REST APIs and web services.

• Understanding of B2C eCommerce architectures.

• Experience working under agile methodologies like Scrum.
