Back End Developer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs utilizing C# and .NET 6+, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Engage in software architecture discussions, assessing technical trade-offs and suggesting scalable, sustainable solutions.

• Advance application architecture by implementing Clean Architecture, practical-level DDD, and layered architecture.

• Create and optimize the persistence layer with Entity Framework Core, which includes data modeling, migrations, and performance enhancements.

• Work with relational databases to ensure efficient queries, appropriate index usage, and transactional integrity.

• Implement and uphold automated unit and integration testing.

• Contribute to best practices in software engineering, such as SOLID principles, Clean Code, and design patterns.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Mentor junior developers and aid in the team's technical development.

• Enhance application observability, focusing on logging, metrics, and monitoring in production environments.

• Collaborate with product and technology teams for the ongoing evolution of solutions.

• Design and execute integrations based on messaging and asynchronous communication, utilizing RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET, ideally .NET 6 or later.

• Around 4+ years of experience in .NET development with active involvement in enterprise projects.

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core and relational databases, particularly SQL Server or its equivalent.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles and Clean Code practices.

• Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.

• Proficient in Git and collaborative version control methodologies.

• Background in automated testing.

• Nice to have: experience in Clean Architecture, DDD, or CQRS.

• Nice to have: experience with Docker and application containerization.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps.

• Nice to have: experience in observability, metrics, and monitoring of production applications.

• Nice to have: experience with distributed systems, high-availability, or high-scale environments.

• Nice to have: some understanding of .NET MAUI.
