This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Architect and develop new application capabilities using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Design and maintain Java-based applications utilizing Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Analyze and resolve production incidents by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.

• Monitor application performance, availability, and operational health in enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to ensure service reliability.

• Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 2 years of experience as a Java developer building enterprise or web-based applications.

• Java, Cloud, Monitoring, or Observability certifications are considered a plus.

• Strong experience in application development using Java.

• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Experience in building and supporting REST APIs and microservices.

• Knowledge of application monitoring and observability practices.

• Experience with monitoring platforms similar to Dynatrace, Kibana, Elastic Search, or equivalent.

• Experience analyzing logs, metrics, traces, and application performance.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of clean code principles and software engineering best practices.
