Back End Developer, Go, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Make technical decisions that enhance the codebase and minimize risks.

• Actively participate in designing new features and technical solutions.

• Utilize AI tools in development and engage in building AI agents.

• Collaborate closely with mobile, frontend, backend developers, and DevOps within the team.

• Conduct code reviews and share knowledge with the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Back End development.

• Knowledge of Computer Science principles.

• Product-oriented thinking (ability to be proactive and pragmatic in technical decision-making).

• Proficient experience with at least two of the following languages/stacks: Go, Node.js, Java, Ruby (on Rails).

• Openness to a General Backend approach - readiness to work in a polyglot environment and learn new languages and technologies as needed.

• Active use of AI tools in daily development (Claude or others) is a mandatory requirement; this experience is highly valued.

• Experience in designing cloud-based applications (preferably AWS).

• Understanding of architectural approaches (DDD, Event-Driven, monolith, microservices).

• Experience with REST/gRPC and message brokers (RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS).

• Experience in designing SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Experience implementing and working with various types of tests.

• Experience in deploying CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to effectively plan personal work (decompose and prioritize complex tasks).

• Upper Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken).

• Interest and experience in building AI agents (or a strong desire to develop in this area).

• Experience with GraphQL: schema design, logic, and resolver code, etc. Familiarity with Protocol Buffers, especially the protoc compiler and plugins for Golang.

• Experience in fintech or financial services.
