Back-end Developer, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create complex technical solutions for the Omie system;

• Acquire a deep understanding of the software's backend architecture to effectively analyze its components, structure, and functionalities;

• Uphold best practices in both manual and automated test development, as well as in the formulation of software requirements;

• Communicate and share knowledge with the development team to identify and validate business and architectural solutions;

• Engage in tactical and operational discussions, defining annual technical objectives for the area, and conduct feasibility studies and proofs of concept;

• Mentor, train, and collaborate with the development team to devise business, architectural, and design solutions through effective communication and knowledge sharing;

• Ensure that the development team's short- and medium-term objectives are achieved, adjusting practices, standard procedures, and task prioritization as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related IT fields, including Engineering;

• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP system functionalities;

• Proficient in system development languages (CoreBuilder, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, C#);

• Knowledgeable in relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL);

• Understanding of cloud platform services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);

• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN);

• Experience with unit testing;

• Comprehension of essential principles governing scalable applications;

• Development practices aligned with OWASP guidelines (https://owasp.org/);

• Background in customer support or client-facing roles;

• Experience collaborating within teams;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Intermediate proficiency in English;

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
