Back End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing back-end features within SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).

• Architecting and implementing robust solutions utilizing Java and the Spring Framework.

• Applying business logic through Services, DAOs, Facades, and Strategies.

• Designing and integrating REST APIs and web services to connect digital ecosystems.

• Developing OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) services to facilitate omnichannel experiences.

• Contributing to the advancement of scalable, high-performance B2C architectures.

• Integrating SAP Commerce with ERP, CRM, and various external systems.

• Collaborating with architects, QA engineers, functional analysts, and Front-End teams to guarantee high-quality solutions.

• Conducting code reviews and contributing to reusable engineering standards and best practices.

• Engaging in platform optimization, maintenance, and continuous evolution initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of experience in back-end development.

• Experience in Agile environments utilizing the Scrum methodology.

• Proficient in Java 8, Java 11, or later versions.

• Knowledge of the Spring Framework.

• Familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).

• Experience with OCC (Omni Commerce Connect).

• Skills in Backoffice, CronJobs, and ImpEx.

• Experience in SAP Commerce extension development and customization.

• Nice to Have: Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

• Nice to Have: Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms.

• Nice to Have: Experience in optimizing performance in SAP Commerce.

• Nice to Have: Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Nice to Have: Experience in Cloud environments and DevOps practices.

• Nice to Have: English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.
