This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +2 more states.
• Demonstrate proficient appointment-setting abilities, achieving the requisite number of appointments weekly with the appropriate decision-makers.
• Strong Sales Skills
• Employ advanced professional selling techniques.
• Identify the incremental and programmatic needs of prospects.
• Clearly articulates Staples' value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments across all categories.
• Skilled in overcoming objections and finalizing sales.
• Leverage designated selling tools to prioritize tasks and enhance efficiency, while documenting customer interactions and information (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
• Internal Collaboration: Work effectively with customer support/setup teams and category specialists to advance deals to closure.
• Implement and scale wins while ensuring compliance with new accounts/programs.
• Possess expertise in the prospect industry's buying processes and assist in product selection and standardization.
• Generate over $750K in revenue annually.
• Develop enduring accounts that will continue purchasing from Staples.
• Incorporate feedback from prospects into the sales strategy.
• Handle new customer assortments and pricing.
• Team Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate closely with Category Specialists and Support teams.
• Customer Engagement: Responsible for daily, professional communication with prospects, both in person and face-to-face.
• 1-3 years of proven sales experience or successful tenure as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
• Over 3 years of experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Industry knowledge is a plus.
