B2B Product Manager – Observability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Continuously conduct discovery to validate priorities and identify emerging needs across Monitoring, Tracing, and Logging.

• Establish success criteria for each product initiative and monitor outcomes throughout delivery and beyond.

• Keep abreast of relevant industry trends in observability tools and cloud infrastructure to inform strategic decisions.

• Propel AI adoption within the three teams and facilitate projects that promote AI-driven workflows for other teams utilizing observability data.

• Manage and sustain a healthy backlog across all three Observability teams, balancing new feature development, technical investments, and defect resolutions.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and technical leads on each team to transform roadmap initiatives into clear backlog items with defined scope and acceptance criteria.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including quarterly planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ART syncs to keep teams aligned and unblocked.

• Clearly and proactively communicate release forecasts and associated risks to stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Monitor dependencies and sequencing across Monitoring, Tracing, and Logging to ensure coordinated delivery of initiatives that span multiple teams.

• Proactively identify and resolve cross-team blockers early; escalate risks before they lead to delays.

• Act as a central coordination point between the Observability teams and other stakeholders, including Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and Product leadership.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure observability capabilities meet both internal and external needs.

• Convert technical observability tasks into clear, business-relevant narratives for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

• Maintain visibility into each team's progress and deliver the right information to the appropriate audiences at the right time.

• Contribute to the broader Product community at Jamf by sharing insights and helping to strengthen product discipline across the portfolio.

• Perform additional duties as necessary and complete all job functions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner with a proven track record of delivering technical products.

• More than 2 years of experience working with engineering teams in an Agile development setting.

• Strong technical foundation: comfortable understanding system architecture, cloud infrastructure concepts, and engineering trade-offs; able to engage credibly in technical discussions without needing extensive observability expertise from day one.

• Strong project management skills: capable of tracking multi-team dependencies, managing risks, and driving initiatives to completion in complex environments.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to convey technical work clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable making data-informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
