This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Promote Genius® and other Global Payments offerings to small and mid-sized businesses in the restaurant, retail, and service sectors.
• Build and maintain a steady pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking efforts.
• Provide consultative, value-driven presentations both in-person and online to showcase how Genius® enhances payment processes, boosts operations, and fosters customer loyalty.
• Work alongside your District Manager to pinpoint new opportunities, schedule appointments, and achieve quick sales closures.
• Keep precise records of pipeline activities and tracking in Atlas and Salesforce, including call notes, follow-ups, and client interactions.
• Upsell and cross-sell current merchants on new features, software additions, and hardware enhancements.
• Stay informed on the fintech industry, market trends, and product developments to establish yourself as a reliable technology advisor.
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities—adept at selling both face-to-face and virtually.
• High energy, self-driven, and competitive—motivated to surpass targets.
• Professional demeanor and a genuine capacity to engage with business owners.
• Familiarity with the restaurant or retail sectors is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend at least 75% of your time in the field.
