This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Composing white papers, industry reports, and sales materials that simplify technical subjects for easier understanding.
• Developing newsletters and a moderate amount of email/campaign content tailored for a business audience.
• Updating and creating web content that harmonizes brand voice with clarity.
• Modifying tone and complexity to align with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), discerning when to write for an expert versus when to elucidate a concept simply.
• Conducting thorough research on your topic, identifying sources, and returning with either questions or a polished draft, rather than waiting for instructions at each step.
• Experience in B2B contexts. You have a track record of writing for business audiences.
• Mid-level experience: 3–5 years.
• Proficiency in technical and regulated-industry writing. You have experience converting complex, technical, or compliance-related subjects into clear, accessible content.
• Backgrounds in any regulated or technically intricate field are highly valued.
• Resourcefulness. You engage in research before commencing writing.
• Awareness of ICP. You grasp the concept of a buyer persona/ICP and can articulate how your writing strategy varies for different audiences.
• Embracing feedback as an opportunity for growth. You accept constructive criticism with grace, using it to improve your work and ensuring the same issues do not recur.
• Prioritizing quality over speed. You prefer to invest a bit more time to deliver high-quality work rather than producing quick, subpar content.
