B2B Business Travel Consultant, GDS, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional travel support through phone, email, and chat channels.

• Accurately and efficiently manage bookings for hotels, flights, rail, and car rentals.

• Address complex itineraries, including ticketing, reissues, cancellations, EMD/MCO issuance, and PNR management.

• Assist customers in utilizing self-service features across digital platforms and mobile apps.

• Ensure adherence to travel policies, operational procedures, and global travel regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve travel-related challenges and enhance customer experience.

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of suppliers, destinations, booking systems, and travel industry operations.

• Engage in internal training sessions, supplier updates, and operational meetings.

• Offer operational insights to refine processes and elevate customer satisfaction.

• Meet SLA targets, uphold quality standards, and achieve operational KPIs within a dynamic support framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in German with good English communication abilities (B2 level or higher).

• Prior experience in Business Travel or Corporate Travel settings.

• Practical experience with GDS systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo (essential).

• Solid understanding of ticketing processes, reissues, cancellations, EMD/MCO issuance, and PNR management.

• Knowledge of complex itineraries, airfare construction, negotiated fares, and routing techniques.

• Familiarity with ARC and BSP booking practices.

• Experience with NDC, low-cost carriers, and third-party aggregators is a plus.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Capable of multitasking and effectively managing urgent travel requests.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced international support setting.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, between 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM.
