Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver Level 2 (L2) support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

• Oversee infrastructure, performance, and service availability.

• Handle incidents, requests, problems, and changes effectively.

• Manage patches, configurations, and ensure compliance.

• Evaluate trends and pinpoint automation opportunities.

• Strive for continuous improvement in the end-user experience.

• Work in collaboration with global teams and the client's technical experts.

• Clearly outline hands-on experience, technical knowledge, proficiency, total professional experience, on-call availability, certifications, and preferred technology experience in your resume.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience.

• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or corporate desktop virtualization technologies.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory.

• Background in infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and incident management.

• Experience in monitoring, performance optimization, and managing critical environments.

• Advanced or fluent English is required.

• Proficiency in Portuguese is a must.

• Advanced or fluent Spanish is preferred.

• Experience with VMware Horizon, Citrix, or other VDI solutions is a plus.

• Familiarity with automation and PowerShell is advantageous.

• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft certifications are desirable (examples: MD-102, AZ-104, SC-200, SC-900, AZ-900).

• Understanding of Zero Trust and best practices for endpoint security is preferred.

• Must be available for on-call rotation.
