Azure Synapse, Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable data pipelines utilizing Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Construct and enhance ETL/ELT processes to accommodate extensive datasets and analytical workloads.

• Design and improve Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, and semantic models.

• Convert reporting and analytical requirements into effective technical solutions and visual representations.

• Maintain data quality, reliability, and scalability throughout pipelines and reporting frameworks.

• Optimize SQL queries, Synapse workloads, and Power BI models for enhanced performance and usability.

• Merge data from both cloud and on-premise sources into well-structured analytics layers.

• Adhere to data governance, security, and access best practices within Azure environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics engineering.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report development.

• Advanced SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and optimization.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar orchestration/ETL tools.

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale data environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization is preferred.
