Azure Infrastructure as Code Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain infrastructure as code for Azure environments utilizing Terraform and/or Bicep.

• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Develop reusable modules while defining naming conventions, tagging, and environmental standards.

• Oversee networking, identity, RBAC, and Key Vault configurations in code.

• Implement governance policies with Azure Policy and address configuration drift.

• Document the infrastructure thoroughly and collaborate closely with the client's internal team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure.

• Demonstrated proficiency in writing production-level Terraform or Bicep for Azure.

• Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.

• Solid understanding of Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints) and Entra ID / RBAC.

• Availability to commit approximately 25 hours per week during business hours (Eastern time).

• Must be eligible to work in the US on a 1099 basis.

• Microsoft certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 (preferred).

• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification (preferred).

• Experience in financial services, payments, or other regulated environments (preferred).

• Previous consulting or fractional contract experience (preferred).

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
