Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of Azure foundations, encompassing tenant assessment, subscription architecture, management groups, and resource organization.

• Create and execute identity and access frameworks within Microsoft Entra ID, which includes RBAC, administrative groups, privileged access, MFA, break-glass accounts, and enterprise integrations.

• Develop a secure and pragmatic Azure baseline that addresses governance, policies, tagging, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, logging, monitoring, and cost management.

• Define fundamental networking and platform patterns, such as VNets, private access strategies, connectivity choices, and deployment preparedness.

• Deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar) to guarantee repeatability and scalability.

• Provide a documented, production-ready environment with well-defined architectural decisions and configuration standards.

• Transfer the platform with detailed operational guidance for internal stakeholders and delivery teams.

• Ensure the environment is fully prepared for subsequent workloads without the need for rework or architectural deficiencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to establish Azure environments from the ground up (greenfield).

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity/security best practices.

• Practical experience with Azure governance (management groups, policies, tagging).

• Strong understanding of Azure networking (VNets, private endpoints, connectivity patterns).

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

• Comfortable working in client-facing settings with a high degree of ownership.
