Azure Cloud FinOps Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct business reviews with customers that focus on cloud utilization and the identification and sharing of cost optimization opportunities.

• Develop and sustain a trusted advisor relationship with our clients.

• Keep detailed documentation of checklists, procedures, processes, and policies to ensure compliant and best-practice deployment and usage of cloud resources.

• Define, assess, and monitor KPIs and SLAs that contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Manage the post-sales relationship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting Microsoft Azure clients.

• Must either have or be willing to acquire FinOps Practitioner Certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a Technology-related field; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Proven experience in optimizing workflows and implementing process improvements.

• Strong technical and business problem-solving abilities and judgment.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, presentation skills, and the capacity to engage with colleagues and customers at all technical levels.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands effectively.

• Experience collaborating with clients on business solutions.

• Must either have one year of prior experience with public cloud billing and licensing models or be eager to learn.

• Must either have one year of prior experience in the Microsoft Azure Portal or similar Cloud Portals or be willing to learn.
