This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver exceptional operational support for managed Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid environments by utilizing standardized processes, best practices in service delivery, and customer-specific runbooks.
• Provide advanced technical assistance for escalated incidents, service requests, and problems, ensuring timely resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of permanent corrective measures.
• Proactively oversee the health, availability, capacity, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services, promptly identifying and resolving issues before they impact business operations.
• Administer and support Azure resources, including virtual machines, Azure Virtual Desktop, storage, backup, site recovery, networking, identity, and other related platform services.
• Support Microsoft 365 and security-related services, encompassing Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, role-based access control, endpoint management, and associated administrative controls.
• Implement and uphold monitoring, alerting, patching, backup, recovery, and maintenance processes to enhance service reliability, operational maturity, and cyber resilience.
• Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives through scripting, templates, repeatable procedures, and operational runbooks to boost consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal security, service desk, and engineering teams to facilitate vulnerability remediation, security controls, compliance-oriented practices, and change execution.
• Maintain precise technical documentation for customer environments, procedures, standards, and support models to ensure service consistency and knowledge transfer.
• Assist with cloud deployments, environment optimization, and lifecycle management activities while adhering to approved architectural standards and operational best practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance security posture, operational efficiency, service performance, and cost optimization across managed customer environments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, translating technical issues and recommendations into clear, actionable guidance aligned with business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft Azure in production environments, ideally within a managed services or multi-customer support model.
• Proven experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and identity services.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and security capabilities, including Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, and role-based access control.
• Experience with monitoring and operational tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, alerting platforms, and service management systems.
• Preferred experience supporting endpoint, security, and cloud operations technologies like Intune, Microsoft Defender, Defender for Cloud, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Familiarity with IT service management practices, including incident, problem, change, and request management.
• Proven ability to document environments, processes, standards, and technical procedures with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools; knowledge of infrastructure as code concepts such as Bicep, ARM, or Terraform is a plus.
• Capability to assess existing environments, identify risks or improvement opportunities, and provide sound recommendations regarding availability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build trust, clearly explain technical concepts, and align recommendations with the needs of both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, execute assigned deliverables with minimal oversight, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, 24x7 managed services environment.
