Azerbaijani to English OPI/VRI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Azerbaijan.

📋 Description

• Professionally handle incoming calls, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Have a strong understanding of the specific vocabulary relevant to the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages, ensuring no additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during the interpretation process.

• Enable effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients through precise and comprehensive message interpretation.

• Implement established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to the dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Azerbaijani".

• Over 1 year of experience in telephone interpretation within a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is considered an advantage.

• Possession of international certifications relevant to the healthcare field is a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
