AWS Team Lead, Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide the vision, execution, and direction to implement strategies, processes, and technologies that deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Conduct morning meetings with the internal team and clients.

• Engage in requirements analysis and design discussions at the onset of new projects.

• Collaborate with your team on issues in Jira, including building systems and creating CloudFormation/Serverless templates for resource deployment.

• Assist junior team members who are facing challenges in coding and teamwork.

• Explore new AWS Services, tools, or programming languages to meet project requirements.

• Ensure the team continuously refines our practices to deliver results more quickly, with higher quality and improved performance for our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.

• Experience with AWS services, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, RDS, Redshift, and VPC/Network configurations.

• Over 10 years of development experience, with a recent emphasis on Node.js/Typescript, and working with AWS services.

• In-depth understanding of agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback, fostering skill development while enhancing team relationships.

• The ideal candidate prioritizes understanding needs before offering solutions.

• A passion for technology and staying updated on the latest development best practices, especially regarding AWS services.
