This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• The Business Development position is tasked with interpreting vendor and technology growth strategies internally and driving them within specific strategic segments.
• Increase profitable market share by implementing the Business Unit strategy in complete alignment under general managerial guidance.
• Negotiate significant tenders and major deals utilizing extensive knowledge of the technology distribution industry and a thorough understanding of hardware, software, services, and solutions.
• Enhance results by promoting sales from the agreed vendor portfolio, which includes identifying new vendors, onboarding, and other business development initiatives.
• Coordinate engagement activities at the board level that effectively address overall business goals and multiple objectives.
• Exhibit a consistent capability to successfully negotiate high-level and high-value customer opportunity engagements.
• Introduce solutions and service offerings to the market, including TaaS.
• Responsible for quarterly vendor business planning and execution.
• Oversee overall vendor management.
• Act as a trusted consulting advisor, assisting customers in defining their strategic business objectives.
• Empower and support sales teams to win and expand both wallet share and market share.
• Cultivate relationships and engage with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is recognized as the “Trusted Advisor.”
• Ensure continuous use of CRM tools to maintain best-in-class business continuity.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the assigned vendor’s product and service line.
• Develop high-impact value propositions for discussions and decision-making processes at the 'C' level.
• Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, particularly in channel and/or vendor roles at the business development level, preferably with a background in sales or product marketing.
• Strong focus on and experience with services and solution selling.
• Expertise in strategic planning and business case development.
• Experience working within a matrix organizational structure.
• Proven track record of self-management in an external environment.
• Experience in business planning with a strong operational cadence.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Skills in influence and persuasion.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Capable of articulating, persuading, and influencing favorable business outcomes in 'C' level scenarios.
• Extensive knowledge of the technology distribution industry, alongside an understanding of hardware, software, services, and solutions.
