AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deploy, oversee, and sustain AWS infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.

• Engage with AWS services like Amazon Connect, Lambda, S3, EventBridge, and Data Bridges.

• Create and uphold scalable, reusable, and secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise.

• Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application and infrastructure deployments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of highly available, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable infrastructure code that adheres to best practices and organizational standards.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to discussions regarding infrastructure design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

• Strong practical experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.

• At least 1 year of experience in Python scripting and automation.

• Proficient in Terraform Enterprise and principles of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

• Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and best practices in version control.

• Experience with strategies for cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) are a plus.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira is a plus.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar solutions is a plus.

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments is a plus.
