AWS Data Engineer – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Organize, aggregate, and manage extensive datasets utilizing ETL tools.

• Convert clients' business goals into an information management and business intelligence framework.

• Accountable for upkeeping data pipelines and guaranteeing secure access to data.

• May also involve the development and presentation of metrics (dashboards) from the gathered data, ensuring the quality and reliability of that information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL tools).

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud services: Glue, EMR, Athena, SNS, Lambda, Step Functions.

• Knowledge of data modeling and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Hadoop.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python / PySpark.

• Ability to execute unit tests and performance tests.

• Preferred qualifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Data Engineer certifications.

• Experience in data quality assurance and observability.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and monitoring tools (Terraform, CloudWatch).
