AVP, VP MBU Claims Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Formulate a long-term strategy for the Medical Business Unit program claims organization.

• Set and oversee benchmarks and metrics to evaluate team performance.

• Deliver innovative solutions to meet strategic objectives.

• Build and maintain relationships with reinsurers and clients.

• Manage auditing processes and uphold quality standards.

• Ensure alignment of vertical partnerships with divisional goals.

• Create comprehensive reports and conduct portfolio analyses.

• Work in collaboration with Analytics and IT teams to enhance efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to claims practices and confidentiality agreements.

• Promote team development and morale.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

• Over 10 years of experience in relevant Medical Insurance claims positions (Medical Stop Loss or Medical Excess).

• At least 5 years of experience in medical program claims.

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as necessary.

• Willingness to travel.
