This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead and guide a high-performing, experienced team of Relationship Managers.
• Ensure the recruitment and retention of top talent.
• Direct, set, and implement priorities, performance objectives, and goals to achieve departmental outcomes.
• Oversee and assess departmental performance, taking necessary actions to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to continuously enhance capabilities and results, including the strategic development, maintenance, and execution of complex and comprehensive client relationship management programs/plans, ensuring that the overall service needs of internal and external clients are met while achieving business, retention, and profitability objectives.
• Over 10 years of experience in relationship management that is directly relevant to the responsibilities outlined.
• More than 3 years of managerial, supervisory, or demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to influence senior management and critical stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of retirement plans.
• Excellent presentation skills with a proven ability to influence all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions and presentations.
• Capability to successfully hire, retain, develop, and coach staff through a culture of real-time performance feedback, while fostering both technical and leadership skills.
• Proven history of strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g., senior management, peers, and colleagues) and a demonstrated ability to create innovative and collaborative approaches.
• Strong aptitude for finding common ground and fostering collaboration among senior management, colleagues, and peers; capable of influencing outcomes without direct commands.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree).
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
