This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Assess both new and renewal accounts for surveys and services pertaining to complex, Large Property accounts across various industries and (large or complex) Middle Market properties.
• Execute technical evaluations of engineering reports and perform desktop account reviews for the underwriting team.
• Organize account service tasks and coordinate client interactions to meet departmental objectives.
• Conduct on-site client evaluations to verify and assess exposures and recommendations, which may involve performing risk control surveys.
• Oversee the distribution of recommendations and ensure compliance to effectively persuade clients toward risk mitigation modifications.
• Examine trends in loss exposures and emerging technologies to offer risk control products and/or services aimed at loss reduction.
• Facilitate meetings with clients and brokers, as well as networking events and other social gatherings.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related discipline. Relevant professional designations or certifications such as P-Eng., CFPS, or other technical certifications/designations are highly beneficial.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance risk control is preferred.
• Expertise in assessing the adequacy of fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Capability to strategically plan and prioritize workload to achieve production and management targets.
