This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of sophisticated statistical and machine learning models aimed at predicting and optimizing performance within the Star Ratings Program.
β’ Take ownership of the technical roadmap for the analytics platform, ensuring it meets both current and future analytical requirements.
β’ Convert model outputs and intricate datasets into actionable insights at the member, provider, and measure levels.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate these insights into clinical outreach, population health, and member engagement workflows to inform targeted interventions.
β’ Manage the complete development process of forecasting models for the Star Ratings Program, including the creation of risk-adjusted simulations.
β’ Create and sustain performance monitoring tools and dashboards to oversee and evaluate performance across all organizational levels.
β’ Act as the organization's senior data science subject matter expert regarding all Star measures (e.g., HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, Part D).
β’ A minimum of 10+ years in data science, data engineering, or a related discipline, with a proven history of designing and implementing large-scale, complex data solutions.
β’ Extensive experience in a leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to establish technical vision and lead teams effectively.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare sector, particularly regarding Medicare Advantage and the CMS Star Ratings System.
β’ Expert-level understanding of contemporary data architecture principles, including cloud platforms (Azure), data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes.
β’ Proven experience in establishing and managing data governance and data quality initiatives.
β’ Strong grasp of data security and compliance regulations within a healthcare framework.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
