This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete M&A integration lifecycle, including pre-close readiness assessments, Day 1 operating playbook design, governance of cross-functional workstreams, and tracking performance post-close to ensure value capture.
• Spearhead pre-integration project activities such as designing the target operating model, validating synergy modeling, assessing integration risks, and ensuring regulatory/compliance readiness by collaborating with Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Product teams.
• Act as the cross-functional integration lead for acquired entities from the closing phase through to operational stabilization; manage integration KPIs, escalate issues, and provide executive reporting to the C-suite and Board.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development and Finance to convert deal thesis assumptions into integration milestones and timelines for synergy realization; hold workstream leaders accountable for delivery.
• Manage the enterprise portfolio of strategic transformation programs, which typically involve organizational change, process transformation, technology modernization, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Serve as the program director for the most complex and visible initiatives, providing direct program leadership and hands-on accountability for delivery rather than merely oversight.
• Establish and maintain the program delivery framework, including intake and prioritization processes, governance for cross-functional workstreams, dependency management, and risk escalation schedules.
• Create executive-ready program reports for the CEO and Board, covering initiative status, interdependencies, risk posture, and progress against set milestones.
• Act as a strategic partner to the SVP, Head of Business Performance, and other senior executives on matters of transformation strategy, resource prioritization, and sequencing of enterprise initiatives.
• Prepare strategic updates for the Board and C-suite; take ownership of the narrative beyond just the presentation slides.
• Represent the transformation function during M&A diligence processes, assessing operational readiness of targets, identifying integration risks, and modeling costs and synergies for deal teams.
• Contribute to the annual strategic planning process by constructing the program portfolio, modeling ROI for initiatives, and making recommendations for resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies; work with legal counsel and leadership to manage risks and foster a culture of integrity.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and mission statements; maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role; and
• Perform any responsibilities and/or duties as reasonably assigned to support the operational and business success of the organization.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in strategy, enterprise program management, M&A integration, management consulting (strategy/operations), or corporate transformation; with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role that includes team management responsibilities.
• Proven M&A integration experience, having personally led or co-led at least one end-to-end integration (from pre-close to value capture) in a healthcare, SaaS, or technology-enabled services setting.
• A successful track record in leading enterprise cost optimization programs that deliver measurable outcomes, demonstrating not only governance but also accountability for delivery.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and present effectively to C-suite and Board-level audiences in high-stakes scenarios.
• Experience in leading large-scale change management initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations where organizational politics and competing priorities are prevalent.
• Leadership experience in managing people; has recruited, developed, and led a team of program managers or analysts.
• Familiarity with private equity-backed or high-growth transformation environments that demand speed, rigor, and resource discipline.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a top-tier program is strongly preferred.
