This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer guidance and assistance on legal matters related to Practice operations and transactions.
• Cultivate and sustain client relationships with local practice and business team partners.
• Recognize legal risks and issues that may arise during daily operations, contractual agreements, and business transactions.
• Collaboratively formulate solutions to intricate legal and business challenges.
• Advise practice leadership on proposed arrangements and complex legal issues.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, services contracts, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate business agreements and resolve legal disputes.
• Enhance and optimize processes and systems to deliver outstanding legal services across a nationwide organization.
• Assist business counterparts in responding to audits or litigation issues.
• Oversee and coordinate matters with external counsel.
• Provide counsel on corporate governance documents and frameworks.
• Strategic thinking abilities to offer practical advice while being mindful of legal risks in a business environment.
• In-depth understanding of the legal and business aspects related to health care services.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both legal and business settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize competing matters.
• Capability to handle and protect confidential information.
• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing with a state bar.
• A minimum of 6 years of combined experience in corporate, transactional, or operations roles at a law firm and within a health care company is preferred, with a strong preference for health care services experience.
