Aviation Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance a worldwide network of suppliers for aircraft components, rotables, engines, and aviation inventory.

• Identify and secure competitive inventory for the sales department.

• Cultivate long-term partnerships with airlines, MROs, OEMs, teardown firms, and aviation suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and purchasing conditions.

• Respond promptly to sourcing inquiries and urgent market needs.

• Monitor market trends, availability, shortages, and opportunities for excess inventory.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to assist with customer RFQs and facilitate deal closures.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of supplier and inventory records within internal systems.

• Discover new sourcing opportunities and develop strategic vendor partnerships on a global scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in aviation sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.

• Established network within the aviation aftermarket sector.

• Familiarity with aircraft components, rotables, engines, and aviation supply chains.

• Proficient in negotiating effectively in a dynamic trading environment.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Self-motivated and highly proactive approach.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Experience with airlines, MROs, OEMs, or aviation distributors is strongly preferred.
