This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversees the creation of Airport Master Plans, regional transport strategies, and capital improvement initiatives (CIP).
• Utilizes in-depth understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars (Acs) along with federal and state aviation regulations to guarantee that designs for airfields and vertiports adhere to safety and land-use criteria.
• Performs intricate data analysis for aviation forecasting, runway usage, and airspace capacity assessments.
• Manages project finances, timelines, and outcomes, frequently acting as a Task Lead or supporting Project Manager.
• Organizes public hearings and collaborates with airport stakeholders, airlines, and community organizations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Aviation Management, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Typically requires 3 to 8 years of post-graduate experience in airport or environmental planning.
• Expertise in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AviPLAN, as well as GIS/ArcView, Adobe Creative Suite, and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Certifications: CM – AAAE and/or AICP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to tackle complex client issues through a sophisticated, context-sensitive approach to conflict resolution (Professional Engineer) is often highly desirable.
