This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the aviation fleet, covering both base and remote locations.
• Collaborate with the internal Charter team and external vendors to ensure flight safety, maintain legal and regulatory compliance, and reduce operational disruptions.
• Manage Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, mechanical failures, in-flight emergencies, as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance alongside pilots, the Charter team, and DOM/Assistant DOM.
• Order and oversee parts for maintenance, coordinating core returns with the Parts team as necessary.
• Assess aircraft discrepancies and formulate repair or recovery strategies.
• Provide the Charter team with estimates for returning AOG aircraft to service.
• Track aircraft hours, cycles, time-sensitive inspections, and the expiration of MEL/NEF/CDL.
• Analyze aircraft schedules to plan for service checks and cleaning.
• Keep the aircraft due list updated along with discrepancies and deferrals in the web-based flight schedule.
• Organize ferry flights to maintenance providers when necessary.
• Maintain the Summit maintenance web-based pass-down/turnover documentation.
• Review return-to-service documentation, digitalize copies, and ensure original documents are sent to the home base.
• Verify that maintenance activities adhere to current FAA regulations and OEM-approved data.
• Carry out other assigned tasks and responsibilities as directed by TransMedics.
• At least 7 years of experience in Business Jet Aviation Maintenance, Military Aviation Maintenance, or a combination of both fields.
• Possession of a valid and violation-free Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Previous experience in Part 135 operations is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Familiarity with current FAA regulations and OEM-approved data is essential.
