This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Review aviation-related data to assist in making informed decisions regarding flight routes, expenditure practices, employee productivity, safety, aviation regulations, national security, and various other subjects.
• Utilize data to forecast and estimate aviation-related outcomes.
• Conduct operational analyses and create concepts of operations.
• Evaluate architecture, comprehensive systems design, concepts of operations, and implementation strategies.
• Execute data-driven evaluations, including alternative actions when interdependent projects face delays.
• Identify prospects for integrating new technologies.
• Provide technical support in strategic planning, research and development, operations research, systems engineering, and briefing creation.
• Prepare and formulate diverse documents and presentations.
• Offer direct assistance for Business Process Re-engineering (BPR).
• Create As-Is Analysis, To-Be Analysis, and Alternatives Analysis to propose enhancements to current processes and procedures for organizations within and associated with the BNATCS RSR Program.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years or more of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 4 years or more of experience.
• Five years of pertinent experience may replace the Bachelor's degree requirement.
• Relevant aviation data analyst experience within the U.S. Military or an international control setting is acceptable.
• Proficient in aviation data analysis tools and software, including Tableau and Excel.
• A strong understanding of FAA regulations, national security protocols, and industry best practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and presenting technical briefings to various stakeholders at different organizational tiers.
• Capable of conducting Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and spearheading process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in drafting technical documents and reports.
• Familiarity with systems engineering and operations research methodologies is advantageous.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA public trust and FAA resume approval.
• Must be able to work remotely and travel up to 10% of the time.
