Automotive Technical Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for clients through both inbound and outbound communications.

• Engage with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media platforms.

• Provide initial, frontline technical support for consumers.

• Address technical issues in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

• Diagnose and resolve client service and device-specific challenges, including Wi-Fi and internet connectivity problems.

• Effectively calm and de-escalate customer concerns.

• Escalate cases as necessary and appropriate.

• Attend to assistance requests and/or process payments.

• Monitor call-related data for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Offer insights on call-related issues.

• Upsell services when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 6 months of experience in technical support and customer service.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Able to type a minimum of 25 words per minute.

• Proficient with desktop computer systems.

• Basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.

• Strong computer skills, including system navigation, accurate data entry, and typing proficiency.

• A dedicated workspace near your router to facilitate a hardwired Ethernet connection.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Internet Service Provider latency under 50ms.

• Internet connection must not be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P, or VPN.

• Proof of internet speed is mandatory.

• Must reside in one of the specified eligible states.

• Preference given to candidates with customer service and/or sales experience.

• A college degree is preferred but not essential.
