This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks for automated conveyor, sorter, and robotic systems.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to oversee and fine-tune PLC and HMI systems, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
• Assist with system startups, safety evaluations, and the commissioning of new automation equipment.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by determining root causes of downtime and suggesting solutions.
• Keep precise service logs and liaise with operations and engineering teams.
• Support Senior Automation Technicians.
• Update and maintain accurate documentation.
• Schedule subsequent maintenance activities.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tool logs.
• Travel to customer locations to install or repair automated systems for Fortune 500 companies.
• An associate's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, warehouse automation, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, sensors, and PLC logic.
• Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, safety-oriented warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in advanced automation and robotics systems.
• Certified to operate a Forklift.
• Certified to operate a Scissor Lift.
• Comprehensive training provided.
• Approximately 50% travel required to customer sites.
