This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• We are seeking a motivated and intelligent individual to join our Strategy & Operations team and assist in scaling AI-driven business process automation throughout Allstate Protection Plans.
• This role is perfect for someone who merges strong business acumen with practical technical problem-solving skills and is eager to address intricate operational issues such as automating manual tasks, minimizing errors and compliance issues, and enhancing claims and service outcomes.
• Collaborate at the confluence of operations, data, and technology, working closely with business teams, platform partners, and technical colleagues to convert operational requirements into actionable automation solutions.
• Independently oversee complex workstreams from start to finish (including process discovery, solution design, testing, deployment assistance, and iteration), contributing to scalable automation solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and governance.
• Operate autonomously, utilizing sound judgment to navigate ambiguous challenges while aligning with broader team goals and seeking support on high-risk or unprecedented issues.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, process improvement, automation, or roles focused on technology-enabled transformation.
• Familiarity with AI workflow platforms, agentic AI tools, or intelligent automation frameworks.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, supporting, or enhancing workflow automation solutions, preferably including AI-driven or agentic workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate workstreams and achieve results across diverse stakeholders and systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, modeling, large dataset manipulation).
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying, transforming, and validating operational datasets.
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation, data processing, or workflow validation.
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, system integrations, and workflow orchestration concepts such as decision logic, exception handling, retries, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Experience with low-code or automation platforms like Power Automate or similar tools for creating and deploying workflows; experience in configuring AI workflow platforms is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with process mapping and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for business audiences.
