This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare incoming referrals that include demographic details, diagnosis, requested due date, and specialty promptly upon receipt.
• Accurately finalize the intake process by closing the intake in accordance with established workflow procedures.
• Manage client emails during an 8-hour workday, providing essential information to the relevant referrals while also delegating or escalating emails to the appropriate team member.
• Support Dane Street’s “Intake” process to ensure that incoming referrals, records, fee schedules, etc., are uploaded into the respective cases promptly and with appropriate notifications.
• Conduct outreach via emails and calls to clients to gather necessary information and/or medical records to ensure proper case handling.
• Request and retrieve medical records from client platforms like iCase and upload them to the corresponding referrals, informing the CSR team once the records are received.
• Select and allocate incoming referrals, ensuring that the queues are evenly distributed among CSR and QA team members.
• Invoice referrals on the CSR and QA boards based on confirmed physician fees and client quotes.
• Assist in auditing referrals with impending due dates to confirm correct case processing.
• Help with physician outreach and referral assignments during team members' PTO.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs.
• EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
• Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred.
• JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
• Exhibit excellent communication skills with a solid understanding of company business lines. Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet specific deadlines. Proficiency in computer skills and typing is essential.
• WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., required to perform the job duties listed above. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
• WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must provide and support their own internet services.
